New York Military Academy - Alumni Weekend on May 13-15, 2022
We will be celebrating anniversaries from last year and this, so if your class year ends in '1 or '2, '6 or '7- consider making the trip and sharing with your classmates!
Class of 1972 celebrates 50th, Class of 1997 celebrates 25th, and Class of 2002 celebrates 20th!
This year we have a small team of alumni assisting with various aspects of alumni weekend. The schedule may grow between now and May, if you want to get in on volunteering with the weekend or to help recruit classmates - email alumni@nyma.org
Alumni Weekend Schedule (event details are in the ticket area in the upper right details/tickets button will allow you purchase, all tickets include online processing fee)
Friday - May 13th (Golf and Happy Hour)
Saturday - May 14th (Main Day)
- 9AM - Brunch at Curie Dining Hall - $10 donation suggested
- 10AM - State of the Academy and Annual Alumni Meeting in Davis Chapel
- 12PM - Lunch at Curie Dining Hall - $10 donation suggested
- 1:30PM - Laser Tag on the Parade Field with Cadets vs Alumni - $30 per person, consider donating to sponor a cadet to play
- 3PM - Newburgh Brewing Company - Dutch
- 6PM - Alumni Dinner at Pamela's on the Hudson - $85 buffet including gratuity
Post Dinner cocktails and cigars at Schlesinger's Steak House (https://www.schlesingerssteakhouse.com/) - Dutch and outside areas available
Sunday - May 15th (Memorial Service)
- 9AM - Brunch at Curie Dining Hall - $10 donation suggested
- 10:30AM - Annual Memorial Service in Davis Chapel
- 12PM - Closing Events with cadets, lunch off campus with alums that want to hang out
Lodging Options - Recommendation for groups of classmates to consider Air B&B near Cornwall. Hotels in Newburgh or Woodbury Commons would be the easiest commute. Hampton Inn - Newburgh or Hampton Inn - Harriman/Woodbury is recommended.
Driving- Uber and Lyft are options within the Orange County area
